【動画de英語】『クロエ・カーダシアンが明かす、キムの40歳の誕生日旅行の目的地は？』

では、今回ご紹介する動画は、
夫のカニエが大統領選に出馬したことでも知られるあの人です！

 

キム・カーダシアンも40歳になったんですね～。

【Ellen】

You went to Kim’s 40th birthday party, right?

How many people went?

（キムの40歳の誕生日会に行きましたよね？

何人で行ったんですか？）

 

【Khloe Kardashian】

Umm I don’t know maybe 20 or 25.

（おそらく20人か25人くらいじゃないですかね）

 

【Ellen】

And nobody knew where they were going.

（誰も誕生日旅行の行き先を知らなかったんですよね）

 

【Khloe Kardashian】

Nobody went where we  were going. 

We didn’t find out until on the airplane, and it was so special.

（そうなの、誰も知らなかったの。

飛行機に乗るまで全然知らなかったの、すごく特別な体験だったわ）

 

And we all were speculating, like this we just knew it was tropical.

（みんな推測していたのよ、熱帯地域ってことは知ってたの）

We knew we were going to go somewhere, so what to pack.

（そんなところに行くんだなって分かってたから、どんな荷物を詰めればいいかはね。）

 

And we were told three nice outfits for dinners or something like that.

（ディナーに行くための素敵な服装を3つくらい持ってきてね、みたいな）

But other than that, we had no idea, and it was the coolest experience to be that surprised.

（でもその他には、全然何も知らされてなかったの。

あんなに驚かされた経験は最高だったわ）

 

【Ellen】

So I won’t ask where, because it was a secret where y’all went.

（そうなのね、秘密ってことだからこの場でも聞かないようにしておくわね）

 

【Khloe Kardashian】

Jersey.

（ジャージー州だよ）

 

【Ellen】

Jersey? Oh how exciting.

（あはは、本当？最高ね）

 

【Khloe Kardashian】

Tropical.

（熱帯地域でしょ）

 

【Ellen】

And so and then she gets in trouble.

Kim got in trouble for talking about it, right?

（キムがこの件について話すことで、そこからトラブルになっちゃったのよね）

 

【Khloe Kardashian】

I haven’t heard a lot about it, but I did hear that people went upset that we all went out of town or I don’t really know the extent of it, but I understand this year is a frustrating year.

（そこまで詳しく知らないんだけど、私たちが町から出たことで、

怒っちゃってた人がいたようね。

でも理解できるの。

だって今年は本当にストレスのたまる一年だったから）

 

I get it. 

I think there’s so many frustrations going on for everybody.

（そう、分かるの。みんなにとって大変な年だったから）

 

But also it’s her 40th, and this is something that she really wanted to do for us.

It was such a nice thing.

（でもキムの40歳の誕生日だったし、これは彼女が私たちのためにしてあげたかったことだったの。素敵だったわ）
